Let's go for it!

I'm the owner of an old unknown reed organ. The Angelus Organ. This organ is functionally still intact although need a full overhaul.
But the purchase price of 80 Euro justifies this perfectly
With hardly any reference found on the internet, It will be a difficult exercise that has to be performed very securely.

An inventory of all parts that will be dismantled is mandatory. With no background on organs at all, it will be both a technical and music journey through the unknown.

But the aim is to restore it to splendid condition and use it in our Neil Young cover band for the key parts in songs.

Neil young also owns a reed organ, being it a more advanced piece with extra organ pipes.
Mine just has a basic setup with 2 couplers and 5 stops, but it produces a wonderfull sound

My sons do not have a musical background, but attend the local Steiner School where music is one of the core elements to express and grow as a person. I must say, they have talent, especially the one who's actuating the pedals.

In the second part of this video, a specific note got stuck causing a bagpipe effect. This needs to be tackled during the restoration. But for the rest everything is working like a charm
